Bergamo, Stockholm, and Gdansk. Lübeck Airport has a shuttle bus to the central bus station in Hamburg (ZOB)

By train
Hamburg can be conveniently reached from many European destinations by train. The central railway station is
called Hauptbahnhof, the one closest to the ESSLLI site is Bahnhof Dammtor. Most trains stop at both
stations, so it would be convient to buy your ticket to Dammtor. In case your train does not stop at
Dammtor, you can take a suburban train ("S-Bahn") from Hauptbahnhof to Dammtor, but
you need an extra ticket for this.
