Ronald de Haan wins Beth Dissertation Prize

Ronald de Haan has received the E. W. Beth Dissertation Prize 2017 for his dissertation on Parameterized Complexity in the Polynomial Hierarchy, which he defended at the TU Wien in 2016. This award recognises outstanding contributions in the areas of logic, language and information. Ronald joined the Computational Social Choice Group at the ILLC in April 2017 as a postdoctoral researcher, after having been affiliated with the institute as a regular visitor since 2014.
