PhD scholarship in philosophy ("Managing Severe Uncertainty"), London (U.K.)
The Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method at the London School of Economics and Political Science is offering a three-year scholarship for students commencing their MPhil/PhD in Philosophy in September 2013.
The scholarship is attached to an AHRC funded research project on Managing Severe Uncertainty and successful candidates will be expected to pursue doctoral research into one of the areas covered by the research project: decision making under severe uncertainty, uncertainty in scientific modelling and the implications of scientific uncertainty for policy making.
