PhD position in Algorithmic Game Theory, Paris-Dauphine University (France)
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our research team at the Laboratory for Analysis and Modeling of Decision-Making (LAMSADE) at the University of Paris-Dauphine ( https://www.lamsade.dauphine.fr). Specifically, we are looking for candidates interested in pursuing a PhD in algorithmic game theory.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, and a passion for game theory and algorithmic design. The successful applicant will work on cutting-edge research projects in algorithmic game theory, including the design and analysis of algorithms for various game-theoretic models, computational complexity of equilibrium computation, and game-theoretic aspects of network science and social choice.
The PhD position is fully funded for a fixed term of 3 years. The earliest starting date is Fall 2023. The successful candidate will benefit from a vibrant and collaborative research environment at LAMSADE. Paris is a leading hub for scientific and cultural activities, and the University of Paris-Dauphine PSL is one of the top research universities in France.
