Postdoctoral position and PhD student position in argument technology, Dundee (Scotland)
The Centre for Argument Technology is advertising two vacancies in a larger research project on Argument Mining and Disinformation Detection, one for a PhD studentship and the other for a postdoctoral researcher.
We are looking for a talented Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Horizon-2020 project TITAN: AI for Intelligent Coaching against Disinformation. This 30-month position is at Grade 7 (£34,308 - £42,155 pa).
As part of the same project, we are also looking to hire a PhD student with a keen interest in natural language processing, with a Masters degree or an excellent Bachelors in an appropriate subject. The studentship is for 36 months and covers UKRI stipend (£17,668 tax-free pa) and fees ** at UK student rates only ** – candidates who do not qualify for UK student fees will be liable for the difference.
