Robert van Rooij appointed as scientific director of the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation

Robert van Rooij, professor of Logic and Cognition, is the new scientific director of the UvA's Institute for Logic, Language and Computation as of 1 July.
Van Rooij works on the semantics of natural language, informed by insights of cognitive science, and using formal tools from logic, (probabilistic) causal models, and decision and (evolutionary) game theory.
