New funding instrument of the NWO Domain Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH)

During the course of 2018, NWO will implement a simplified set of funding instruments in all domains. From 1 August 2018 onwards, researchers will be able to submit proposals for the first calls that have been published according to this new model. Within the open competition there will be a single domain-wide instrument for curiosity-driven fundamental research: open competition aimed at large and small projects. With this new system, the NWO executive board intends to create greater clarity in the research funding.
