21 October 2022, Cross-Alps Logic Seminar, Christian Rosendal
We are happy to announce the “Cross-Alps Logic Seminars”, a series of talks jointly organized by the logic groups of Genoa, Lausanne, Turin, and Udine. We are going to meet every two weeks on Friday at 16.00 (Italian time) from October 21st, 2022 to June 9th, 2023. All seminars can be followed remotely on the WebEx platform, write to vincenzo.dimonte at uniud.it for the details.
The seminars are going to be varied, with topics from all areas of logic, and will be held by international guests and members of our groups.
In the first seminar, on October 21st from 16.00 to 17.00 CEST, Christian Rosendal (University of Maryland) will talk about “Amenability, optimal transport and complementation in Banach modules”.
Future guests will be Katarzyna Kowalik (University of Warsaw), Annalisa Conversano (Massey University – Auckland), and Jacopo Emmenegger (University of Genoa). The calendar is on our webpage.
