12 April 2016, Logic Tea, Luca Incurvati
Abstract
This talk will be about bilateralism -- the view that our inferential practices are best explained by conditions on rejection (or denial) as well as assertion. Issues that will be discussed include the relationship between rejection and negation, Carnap's so called categoricity problem and recent joint work with Julian Schlöder on weak rejection. In the last part of the talk, I will present some directions for future work.
